Key responsibilities also include

• Patient Evaluation:
• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab tests, imaging studies, and endoscopies.
• Diagnosis and Treatment:
• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal cancers, and pancreatitis.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including medications, nutritional support, and lifestyle modifications.
• Endoscopic Procedures:
• Perform various endoscopic procedures such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and ERCP for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including sedation management.
